*This* Is How You Wear Shorts the Royal Way, According to a Queen

When it comes to royal fashion rules, pantyhose, brooches and pastels reign supreme. But, shorts? With the exception of Prince George and, eventually, little Louis, shorts are all but taboo in the royal wardrobe world. Or at least that's what we thought, until we saw Queen Letizia of Spain rocking a pair of thigh-skimming tailored shorts in Mallorca on holiday with her family.

The Queen of Spain stepped out in a summer-casual ensemble, and traded in her usual color-blocked skirts and designer sheath dresses for a simple, yet totally elegant, vacation-ready outfit. Her Majesty paired the white shorts with a knit ombré pink sleeveless top, straw bag and espadrille sandals.

Finally, proof that even royals understand that comfort is Queen.
