Back in April, the Royal Hashemite Court announced that Princess Rajwa of Jordan, 30, is expecting her first child with husband Crown Prince Hussein, 29. And now, the royal princess is showcasing her growing baby bump on the couple’s joint Instagram account.

Ahead of his dad King Abdullah’s Silver Jubilee, which marked the 25th anniversary since the 62-year-old monarch became the king of Jordan on June 9, 1999, Crown Prince Hussein commemorated the occasion by sharing a never-before-seen photo of himself and his wife.

In the candid photo, Princess Rajwa is all smiles as she dons an embellished cape and a striking red dress, which showcases her growing baby bump. Meanwhile, Crown Prince Hussein is standing right beside her while sporting a navy blue suit, a white collared shirt and a tie.

The caption (written in both Arabic and English) read, “Rajwa and I before the national event marking the #SilverJubilee of His Majesty.”

Months before Princess Rajwa and Crown Prince Hussein announced their pregnancy news, the royal couple tied the knot on June 1, 2023. And there were two members of the British royal family who were in attendance: Prince William and his wife, Kate Middleton.

In a beautiful snapshot taken of the pair (and posted on the couple’s Instagram account), the Prince and Princess of Wales are walking alone in the enchanted Jordanian Gardens. For the occasion, Princess Catherine rocked an elegant pale pink gown designed by Elie Saab. In contrast, Prince William looked quite dapper in his signature navy blue suit and a sky blue necktie.

The Prince and Princess of Wales also included a photo of newlyweds Princess Rajwa and Crown Prince Hussein in the Instagram post. In the caption, they wrote, “Celebrating the wedding of Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah and Princess Rajwa Al Hussein in Jordan yesterday.”
