An inconvenient truth: We weren’t a fly on the wall for this hang sesh.
Former Vice President Al Gore met with the Duke of Cambridge in secret on Wednesday at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, according to CNBC.
Following Gore’s climate-change presentation, titled, “Safeguarding Our Planet,” the two met behind closed doors (and, fortunately, we got the picture of the pair above). Afterward, Prince William’s press secretary, Jason Knauf, said the meeting was “about the environment, the themes the vice president was talking about on stage last night.”
At the forum, William also had a conversation with Sir David Attenborough, whom he interviewed on stage. “People of my generation now are beginning to step into positions of leadership around the world, and the work to save the planet is probably largely going to happen on our watch,” the Duke of Cambridge said.
One small step for the planet, one giant leap for the monarchy.
