Is It Just Us, or Does It Sound Like Prince Harry & Meghan Markle Already Chose Their Son’s Name?

What’s in a (baby) name? For Baby Boy Sussex, a lot of thought and careful consideration.

Prince Harry gave royal fans an update on his and wife Meghan Markle’s newborn son today during an on-camera interview in Windsor, England, and dropped a hint about the little royal’s long-awaited name.

There has been much speculation about what the 34-year-old Duke of Sussex and 37-year-old Duchess of Sussex will name Baby Boy Sussex. Now, the wait is nearly over.

In the video above, the duke says he and the Duchess of Sussex  are “still thinking about names,” but that “the baby was a little bit overdue, so we’ve had a little bit of time to think about it.” Sounds like they’re still ironing out the details, right?

Well, then Harry went on to say, “That’s the next bit,” as though they’ve chosen a name and it will be the next detail the royal family reveals to the press and public.

Regardless, we do have a concrete answer as to when we’ll get our first look at Baby Boy Sussex. “We’ll be seeing you guys in two days’ time, as planned, as a family to be able to share it with you guys so everyone can see the baby,” Prince Harry said.

He also confirmed “Mother and baby are doing incredibly well” and said the birth was “the most amazing experience I could ever possibly imagine.”

Prince Harry went on to commend his wife’s strength, saying, “How any woman does what they do is beyond comprehension…I’m so incredibly proud of my wife. This little thing is absolutely to die for so I’m over the moon.”

Our money’s on Baby Spencer—just saying.
