Bachelor Peter Weber Reveals He Didn’t Have Kelley Flanagan’s Number Until Just ‘Weeks Ago’

Bachelor Peter Weber is speaking out for the first time about his current relationship with Kelley Flanagan. And as it turns out, he just recently got her number.

ICYMI: Weber and his former flame made headlines last month when they were spotted doing the opposite of social distancing in Chicago. The 28-year-old pilot and the 27-year-old tax attorney were seen walking and majorly flirting along the Windy City’s Riverline, despite stay-at-home orders.

On a recent episode of Nick Viall's podcast, The Viall Filesthe pilot opened up about his previous relationship with Flanagan and how they recently connected.

"Within our relationship on the show, it didn't really play out in the best way for us,” he stated. “It just wasn't gonna work on the show. Fast-forward [to] now, a couple weeks ago, I'm out with Dylan [Barbour] and Devin [Harris] and I was texting Kristian [Haggerty], asking her if she wanted to come out with us. She comes out with us, she's with Kelley. Me not knowing this. They show up, I see Kelley again... jaw drops. We chat, we end up hanging out and that's when I got her number. We started to communicate and just stay in touch.”

OK, so how did they end up quarantining together? Lucky for us, Weber gave us all the details on that, too.

“She's always been supportive of me,” he continued. “Long story short, I wasn't working so I thought I'd go out there [to Chicago] and spend some time with her, take her mind off some [family] things. This was right when everything was starting to hit with the quarantine stuff... and it kind of just became a thing where we've always gotten along really well, and had really good chemistry. We just enjoy each other's company. I just decided to quarantine up here with Dustin as well.”

In the words of Chris Harrison, maybe this is just ‘a summer camp fling.’
