Paris Hilton Turned Down a DJ Gig for the President in Order to Attend Britney Spears’s Wedding

If we had gotten an invite to Britney Spears's wedding, we surely wouldn't have missed it for anything, and it appears that Paris Hilton felt the same way. In a new episode of her podcast, This is Paris, the celeb talked about the major gig she had to turn down in order to attend Spears’s wedding—a DJing set for U.S. President Joe Biden and a set of other world leaders.

“I was actually asked to DJ for the president and all of the other presidents around the world for the dinner," Hilton said, referencing the dinner President Biden hosted on Thursday for heads of state and government as a part of the Ninth Summit of the Americas. “But this was more important to me,” she added.

Hilton went on to discuss the wedding, all the while keeping the specific details hush-hush, as she said, “I'm not going to go into any details because it was the princess bride's night and that's her story to tell, but all I can say is that I'm so incredibly happy for her. She looked stunning and it just made me so happy to see that she found her fairytale.”

The Simple Life star wasn't the only major celebrity in attendance. Although Spears and her husband, Sam Asghari, kept the ceremony small and intimate, their guest list still included names like Drew Barrymore, Selena Gomez, Madonna, Donatella Versace and more.

Spears herself shared a video compilation of the day to her Instagram, where we got a glimpse at all the high-profile attendees. In her caption, she said, “Fairytales are real.”

Turning down a gig for the president? Now that's a true friend.
