The long-awaited Lucille Ball biopic might have just found its Lucy and Desi Arnaz.

According to Variety, Nicole Kidman and Javier Bardem are currently in talks to play the I Love Lucy married couple (who were also a couple in real-life) in Aaron Sorkin’s upcoming movie, Being the Ricardos. Academy Award winner Sorkin penned the screenplay and will also direct the film from Amazon Studios and Escape Artists’s Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal and Steve Tisch.

Per the report, the biopic is set during one production week of I Love Lucy—Monday table read through Friday audience filming, during which Lucy and Desi face one crisis that could end their careers and another that could end their marriage.

The project, which has been in the works since 2017, originally had Cate Blanchette rumored as a possible Ball. Being the Ricardos has no release date yet, and most productions are on hold in Hollywood during the coronavirus pandemic.

It’s important to note that this film should not be confused with the documentary Amy Poehler currently has in the works about the same Hollywood couple. Called Lucy & Desi (which is subject to change), her movie will center around the personal and professional partnership between Ball and husband Arnaz and will be the “biggest documentary to be fully financed by Imagine Documentaries.”

Two flicks about Lucille Ball? It’s about damn time.
