Nicki Minaj Is Officially a Married Woman

It’s official: Nicki Minaj is now Mrs. Petty!

Looks like the rapper married her boyfriend, Kenneth Petty, yesterday—at least, according to her most recent Instagram post. On Monday night, the 36-year-old shared a video featuring matching "Mr. and Mrs." mugs and black-and-white baseball caps that had "Bride" and "Groom" written on them.

See the video below.

“Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty 10•21•19,” she captioned the post. (And did you see those sparkly pumps?)

Minaj and Petty have been dating for just over a year. News broke that the couple obtained a marriage license at a Beverly Hills, California, courthouse over the summer. Since they only had 90 days to make it official, it looks like they did it just in time.

“We did get our marriage license,” the singer announced on her Queen Radio show on August 12. “I think I have what I was striving for, just happiness. It was so hard to get to a happy place. Now that I’m there, I don’t want to compromise that for anyone or anything.”

The two became Instagram official back in December of 2018, and have since sparked marriage rumors—like when Minaj changed her Twitter name to “Mrs. Petty” this past August.

The “Super Bass” singer has been outspoken about marrying and starting a family with Petty since the beginning of the relationship. So does this mean we can expect mini Minaj-Pettys in the not too distant future? We hope so.

Congratulations to the happy couple!
