Lately, we've seen Sex and the City, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, The Wonder Years and so many more hit shows of the ’80s and ’90s get the reboot treatment, and now, it looks like another popular series will be joining their ranks: Married... with Children.
According to a report from Deadline, the hit Fox sitcom, which first aired in 1987 and ran for eleven seasons, will be reimagined in a new animated series written by Alex Carter, who previously served as an executive producer on Family Guy.
While the reboot hasn't been officially picked up by a network or streaming service yet, the idea has been workshopped by Sony Pictures Television for the past year. And the best part? All four of the show's leads— Ed O’Neill, Katey Sagal, Christina Applegate and David Faustino—have reportedly closed deals with Sony to join the revival.
