Paparazzi Tried to Photograph Kristen Bell's Kids, and She Had the Best Reaction

Celebrities are used to having every grocery run and trip to the mailbox photographed. But one thing Kristen Bell can’t stand: when the paparazzi tries to take photos of her kids.

The mom of 5-year-old Lincoln and 3-year-old Delta led an anti-paparazzi campaign back in 2014 with other celeb moms and dads against magazines who ran shots of celeb kids on their pages—and she was pretty successful. Entertainment Tonight and People even stopped running pictures of celeb offspring.

Lo and behold, though, the paps just can’t quit. Recently, Bell noticed a giant telephoto lens peering out of a parked car in front of her kids’ preschool as she was picking up Delta and Lincoln.

“I said, ‘Kristen, you can handle this,’” the Bad Moms actress told a reporter at the Mom 2.0 Summit. After driving over with her two daughters in the car and blocking the paparazzi in, she knocked on his window. When he lowered it, she told him politely: “Hi. My name’s Kristen. Do you realize how much you are putting my kids at risk? I have confidence your mom raised you better.” She then asked him to delete the photos of her kids, and he obliged.

Instead of yelling at him, Bell said she thinks her calm demeanor and logical explanation helped win the photographer over. Otherwise, “I guarantee you he would not have deleted those pictures,” Bell said.

So, you’re telling us to channel sweet Anna instead of ice queen Elsa when someone messes with our kids? Well played, Kristen.
