Katharine McPhee & David Foster Are Performing Free Daily Concerts on Instagram

David Foster isn’t letting his postponed tour dates stop him from entertaining the world with music.

The 70-year-old songwriter, along with his wife, Katherine McPhee, will be giving daily concerts on Instagram to help their fans during this time of social isolation. Yup, the 35-year-old American Idol alum shared the news in an Instagram post featuring herself at a piano surrounded by Grammy awards.

“Hi guys- just me here wearing the same sweater for 3 days. me & the hus @davidfoster had so much fun at the piano today going live,” she captioned the post. “We wanna try and do it everyday at 5:30 PT cuz what else is there to do? Song suggestions below? Thanks @erinfoster for the great idea. see ya all tomorrow?”

Foster also shared his own post to social media, revealing that during the first session (which took place on Monday), he “sucked.” Everyone's a critic.

“Was so fun today to go live with my wife-I’m the worlds worst piano accompanist for other people’s songs but Kat is so amazing that she pulls me thru-we are going to try to do it every day-for our own entertainment and hopefully for all of you too-any suggestions are welcome-we were def rookies today and i sucked!!,” he captioned the post. “But fun !!! We will try to go live at 5:30pm west coast time every day!!”

And these two aren’t the only ones offering free live concerts. John Legend also announced he will live-stream a concert on his Instagram page this afternoon.

Hey, in times like these, we can all use a little bit of music.
