Jennifer Garner Matched with Her Daughter Violet During Rare Outing at the White House

Jennifer Garner, 50, got quite the special invite, and she decided to bring her daughter, Violet Affleck, 17, as a plus-one.

The 13 Going on 30 actress and her lookalike teen attended a state dinner at the White House on December 1, where President Joe Biden hosted French President Emmanuel Macron. In photos of the mom and daughter arriving at the event, we can see that the pair decided to wear matching black dresses, and we can't get over how much they look alike.

Garner sported an elegant black dress from Ralph Lauren, which was sleeveless and featured sparkly strips of fabric around the shoulders. The look was styled by Jordan Johnson Chung, and Chung paired the gown with Stuart Weitzman shoes and glittering silver earrings from Harry Winston.

The Adam Project actress shared a slideshow of photos and video from the special evening, which she captioned, “The White House State Dinner last night felt like a dream. Thank you to @potus and @flotus for including me in the magical and elegant evening celebrating the friendship between US/ France with gracious President @emmanuelmacron and First Lady Macron. My lovely date and I will remember it always.”

Violet matched her mom by wearing a spaghetti-strap black midi dress from Carolina Herrera, which she accessorized with a pair of clear glasses and red heels. And we're still not over how much Violet looked like a carbon copy of her mother.

It's been an exciting week for the 17-year-old. Besides the fact that she got to attend a White House dinner, that same day was also her 17th birthday. (Talk about a great way to celebrate your birthday.)
