Jennifer Garner is making her comeback to television in the best way possible. Starz recently announced that the 13 Going on 30 star will appear in the Party Down revival series. Like the original series, the reboot will follow a group of caterers trying to make it big in Hollywood.

She will play the role of Evie, a successful producer of franchised movies who just experienced a breakup and is reevaluating her choices in life. Also, Evie will develop strong feelings for Henry Pollard (played by Adam Scott), who becomes an outlet for her to explore new possibilities.

After appearing in the 2018 comedy series, Camping, the 49-year-old actress is (finally) returning to the small screen once again. Garner will star alongside Tyrel Jackson Williams (Brockmire), Zoë Chao (Love Life) and James Marsden (Dead to Me).

Original stars Scott, Jane Lynch, Ken Marino, Martin Starr, Ryan Hansen and Megan Mullally are all confirmed to return. However, Lizzy Caplan won’t be able to join because she recently signed a contract with the Paramount+ remake of the 1987 thriller, Fatal Attraction

Last year, Starz announced that the Party Down remake will return 11 years after the original series ended. The series creator, Rob Thomas, released a statement that read, "At the end of 2019, the Party Down cast and producers were all reunited at a retrospective for the show hosted by Vulture."

He continued, “We had such a good time that we wanted to find a way to get the team back together again. The cast is so busy these days that finding a window where we can do it may require trigonometry, but we're determined to make it happen.”

We’ll definitely be having a Party Down marathon before the revival premieres.
