When life gives you broken zippers, don’t throw in the towel—wear it. At least that’s what Jenna Fischer did.
The Splitting Up Together star said to hell with zippers (and conventional clothing) after a wardrobe malfunction backstage at Jimmy Kimmel Live!, and came out for her interview wearing jeans, heels and...a towel.
Fischer appeared onstage wearing her bath-chic attire and carrying the dress she was originally supposed to wear. She explained to Kimmel, “I waited a little too long to get dressed and then my zipper broke and I panicked. I am a Missouri girl and the show must go on.”
The Office alum went on to share the positive effects of her wardrobe trouble, saying, “I’ve never been more comfortable…I am mentally freaking out that I’m on a talk show in a towel, but I’m physically very comfortable.” Yep, sounds about right.
Kimmel handled the situation like a pro and put Fischer at ease by joking, “I feel like I ran into you at the spa.”
Um, is anyone else wondering why she happened to have jeans but no shirt?
