The jury is still out on whether or not we're ready to follow Bella Hadid's lead and rock all the naked dresses we can find, but we are more than ready to try our hand at copying her chic hairstyles. So when Dyson invited us backstage at New York Fashion Week to get up close and personal with lead hairstylist Bob Recine as he did Bella's hair for the Brandon Maxwell fashion show, we were 100 percent on board.

Here's how to get the twisted slick bun Recine described as a Psychedelic Ballerina for yourself.

Step 1: Apply styling foam (like Aveda Phomollient Styling Foam) to dry hair and brush through to distribute. (Pro tip: If you have coarse hair, you can add a bit of Aveda Light Elements Smoothing Fluid to further smooth and straighten your strands.)

Step 2: Blow-dry (Recine used the Dyson Supersonic) with high heat and high air flow along with a flat bristle brush to straighten the hair.

Step 3: Once hair is straightened, create a center part and secure hair in a low ponytail with an elastic.

Step 4: Split the ponytail into sections and, starting at the base of the ponytail, twist the hair until it curves and curls into tight swirls and pin into place. Continue to twist and pin until all the hair is pinned.

Step 5: Finish with some hairspray and then go out and live your best supermodel life.
