Since its release back in September 2017, fans of Fenty Beauty have been begging for Rihanna to drop a line of skin-care products, and it looks like their wishes may have come true. The company just announced the launch of not one, but two (!) lip-care products.
The exciting news came in a Fenty Beauty Instagram post introducing the Pro Kiss’r Lip-Loving Scrubstick and the Pro Kiss’r Luscious Lip Balm.
According to the caption, the Scrubstick works as a lip exfoliator, and is described as a “fuss-free scrub packed with apricot seeds to easily exfoliate lips,” while the Luscious Lip Balm will “make your lips softer for the perfect lipstick pout.” (Bonus: It smells like mango. Yum.)
Lip care definitely toes kisses the line between makeup and skincare, so while we can’t confirm this release is going to be part of the official launch of Fenty Skin, we’re pretty confident that this is a good gateway product into the world of skin care for RiRi’s beauty brand.
We’re not surprised that Fenty is making this move, seeing as this is a typical trend for makeup brands that eventually add skin care to their lineup (Lanolips, Charlotte Tilbury and Tarte are all in the same camp). So Rihanna, if you’re reading this, please keep these types of products coming.
The Pro Kiss’r Lip-Loving Scrubstick and Luscious Lip Balm will officially launch online and in Sephora on May 10, so be sure to save the date. We’re anticipating these products will go fast.
