Britney Spears Is Engaged! And We Already Have a Shot of Her Stunning Diamond Ring

Congrats are in order for Britney Spears! If there were someone who was born to make her happy, that man would be Sam Asghari.

The "Toxic" singer just got engaged to the personal trainer that she has been dating for years, and she shared the news on her Instagram account with a video showing off the ring. In the clip, Spears holds up her hand and displays the impressive solitaire diamond while smiling for the camera. According to People, the ring was designed by N.Y.C. jeweler Roman Malayev. In the background, Asghari can be heard saying, “Look at that. Do you like it?” To which Spears excitedly responds, “Yes!”

In the caption, the singer simply wrote: “I can’t f**king believe it!!!!!!” And of course, she added some ring and heart emojis as well.

The news comes only a day after Asghari's Instagram was hacked and rumors started flying that the fitness professional was going to propose to Spears when pictures of an engagement ring were leaked online. Asghari had quickly responded to the matter by posting an Instagram Story that said, “Account got hacked and was photoshopped - calm down everyone!”

But it turns out those pictures must have meant something after all.

Spears and Asghari have been dating since late 2016, when they met on the set of the music video for Spears's song “Slumber Party.” Asghari, who landed a part in the video, told Men's Health that meeting the pop star gave him “butterflies.” After meeting each other, they ended up going out on a sushi date...and the rest was history.

Asghari gave us another shot of the stunning ring on his own Instagram, where Spears is seen holding up her ring finger and the diamond is put in full focus.
