Tyler Cameron’s Other Half, Bestie Matt James, Is Joining ‘The Bachelorette’

If this season of The Bachelor seemed like kind of a let down to you (*raises hand*), then get ready for Clare Crawley’s season of The Bachelorette—thanks to the latest news, it looks like we’re in for some fun.

Yesterday, the 32 contestants vying for the 38-year-old Bachelorette’s heart were announced and one of them is pretty familiar. No, it’s not her ex-fiancé Benoît Beauséjour-Savard (although that may happen since they were spotted lunching together). It’s actually former Bachelorette contestant Tyler Cameron’s best friend, Matt James.

As you may remember, Cameron was a fan favorite and the runner-up on Hannah Brown’s season of The Bachelorette. And, if you follow his beautiful face on Instagram, then chances are you’ve also gotten to know James. Why? They’re basically inseparable and we’re guessing Cameron’s roommate/bestie is about to become our new favorite.

James may have two first names, but he seems like a good, fun-loving guy. In his spare time, he makes videos like this with Cameron.

They even have their own BFF name and hashtag, #Myler, and designed this gorgeous apartment together.

Oh, and did we mention James is such a good running partner to Cameron that the 28-year-old former Bachelorette contestant got his best 5k times “due to being pushed by” his partner in crime?
