Meet 4 of the 7 Adorable Pups Up for Westminster’s Best in Show

Today in the most adorable news ever, four of the seven finalists for the 2018 Westminster Dog Show have been officially awarded the top prize in their respective categories. These well-bred pups will be joined by the remaining three group winners (to be announced later today) to compete for Best in Show. While only one can go home top dog, we’re 100 percent certain they’re all good boys and girls. Here are the four finalists we know so far.

The Hound Group Winner: Lucy The Borzoi

Lucy was runner-up in the 2016 dog show, but now she’s back and ready to take it all alongside her handler Valerie Nunes-Atkinson.

The Toy Group Winner: Biggie The Pug

Not only did this smushy face upset the 25-year reign of the Pekingese, but he’s also competing in place of his father, Rumble, who sadly passed away before the start of the competition. Lifetime needs to make a movie about his life, ASAP.

The Herding Group Winner: Slick The Border Collie

If Slick were to take the crown, it would make him the very first border collie to ever win Best in Show and one of the biggest upsets in Westminster history. Pretty slick if you ask us (sorry).

The Non-sporting Group Winner: Flynn The Bichon Frise

We don’t think our hair has ever looked as good as Flynn’s does here. Please, tell us all your secrets.

Stay tuned for updates on the remaining three contenders for Best in Show.
