Just when we thought we’d seen plenty of Kelly Ripa’s family photos, this happened.
Yesterday, the Live with Kelly and Ryan co-host, 49, posted a slideshow on Instagram in honor of a super-special lady: her mother-in-law, Camilla. The post features ten never-before-seen photos of Ripa’s husband, Mark Consuelos, and his mom over the years, along with a childhood cameo by her oldest son, Michael (23).
The slideshow begins with a throwback photo of Consuelos and Camilla, followed by shots of the family on various vacations. There’s even a rare pic from Consuelos’s childhood, which features the Riverdale star, 49, posing with his parents and his two older siblings.
The caption read, “Happy Birthday to the lady who started this whole thing! Camilla Consuelos [cake emoji] I’m lucky to call you my mother in law [cake emoji] with so much [heart emoji].”
This isn’t the first time Ripa has broken out the photo albums and posted the pics on Instagram. Earlier this year, the actress shared an old image on social media in honor of Father’s Day, featuring Consuelos teaching their youngest children—Lola (19) and Joaquin (17)—how to shave.
While we’re total suckers for (shirtless) images of Consuelos, the talk show host has also been giving us an exclusive look inside her home. Unfortunately, the sneak peeks will likely decrease over time, since Ripa recently returned to the studio to resume normal (sorta) production on Live with Kelly and Ryan. (She and her co-host, Ryan Seacrest, were previously hosting virtual segments from their own homes due to the coronavirus pandemic.)
