While Ryan Seacrest enjoyed a well-needed day off, Kelly Ripa was joined by a very special co-host who needs no introduction to Live viewers.
Ripa was accompanied by her husband, Mark Consuelos, on today’s episode of Live with Kelly and Ryan. In a clip posted to the Live Instagram account, announcer Deja Vu introduced the couple to viewers and they proceeded to walk out hand in hand. The pair even showed off a few salsa moves in front of viewers.
Ripa rocked a black, button-down top with gold detailing on the exterior. She tied the look together with high-rise jeans and gold-colored heels. Meanwhile, her husband donned a gray sweatshirt with navy blue pants and black Oxford shoes. As he normally does, Consuelos held out the chair for his wife, which was met with loud applause.
Just like the rest of us, fans loved seeing Consuelos co-host on Live. One fan wrote in the comments section of the video, “Love these two [heart emojis].” Another chimed in and said, “Love when Mark is on!!!”
This isn’t the first time the Riverdale star has served as a guest host on the morning show. Back in February, Consuelos filled in for Seacrest on a Wednesday, which Ripa jokingly pointed out in her introduction. “It’s Hump Day, no wonder you’re here,” she said.
At the time, Ripa rocked a black and white floral dress with hot pink heels. In contrast, Consuelos wore a navy blue long-sleeve shirt with a pair of denim jeans and all-white sneakers.
