At this point in your life, you’ve cooked so many eggs, you probably whip up an onion-and-arugula frittata blindfolded. But could you do it with just one hand? Put some of the fun back into scrambling eggs by mastering the one-handed egg crack. You got this.
Step 1: Grip the egg with your first two fingers and thumb.
Step 2: Rap the egg firmly onto a solid surface (like your countertop or the edge of a bowl) to crack the shell.
Step 3: Holding the egg above the pan or bowl, press your thumb toward your other fingers with a slight twisting motion like you’re opening a bottle cap.
