She sings, she dances, she’s a good Samaritan. Yes, we’re talking about Lady Gaga.

At the 2023 Oscars red carpet, the singer was caught on camera going out of her way to help a fallen photographer back onto his feet. It’s not fully clear what made him trip, but it’s entirely possible he caught himself on the hem of Gaga’s gorgeous Versace gown. Oops.

Gaga was nominated for Best Original Song tonight for her Top Gun: Maverick ballad “Hold My Hand.” She previously won an Oscar in the same category for “Shallow” in 2019. This year, she was nominated against “Applause” from Tell It Like a Woman, “Lift Me Up” from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, “Naatu Naatu” from RRR and “This Is a Life” from Everything Everywhere All at Once. (The RRR soundtrack cut ended up taking home the prize).

The A Star Is Born actress brought the house down with her performance of “Hold My Hand.” Although Mother Monster arrived in a stunning Versace 'fit, she changed into a black t-shirt and jeans for her stripped-down performance, channeling MTV Unplugged. She also notably removed all her makeup as well (so, she must've gotten the Oscars beauty memo). Of course, it was her vocals that became the focus of the performance anyways.

It wasn’t confirmed that she would make an appearance at the 95th annual Academy Awards, let alone perform, until hours before the ceremony began. According to People, there were scheduling difficulties as Gaga is in the middle of shooting the sequel to the Joaquin Phoenix film Joker.

So…Gaga, spill: What made the photographer trip?
