With only three days until the season finale of season two of HBO’s Westworld, all we can think about is Teddy (ugh, but no spoilers) and what really lies in the Valley Beyond/Glory/the Door…whatever the heck you wanna call it.
One way we’re going to pass the time until Sunday night’s final episode: Play the new Westworld: The Maze game on Amazon Alexa, which just launched yesterday. The Alexa skill is a choose-your-own-adventure experience (are you a Deathbringer Dolores or a Mind-Controlling Maeve?) with up to two hours of narratives and story lines to keep you entertained. The best part? It’s narrated by two of the show’s actors: host/human Bernard (Jeffrey Wright) and Clementine…or should we say, Clemen-stein (Angela Sarafyan).
Just download The Maze skill to your Alexa, then say “Alexa, open Westworld.” (Eeeep, if only it was that easy to enter the fictional fantasy-turned-horror-story theme park.) Next, you’ll be tasked with answering questions about the show as a Westworld host without letting your character “die” (i.e. mess up) in the process.
But if Alexa is collecting data about us and making us into hosts, does that mean Amazon is actually the Delos Corporation? The plot thickens…
