There’s nothing a celeb loves more than to pull a fast one and get bangs on a whim. It takes a certain amount of bravado that we plebeians will never possess. On the other hand, A-listers also have a penchant for faking us out with the ol’ clip-in bangs trick. (Remember Tracee Ellis Ross’s bob-and-bangs combo? Yeah, that was a wig.)
So, behold the latest installment in “did she or didn’t she”: Sophie Turner just debuted a wispy, eyelash-grazing fringe, and by God, we hope it’s not fake.
The former Game of Thrones star debuted her new look by simply stepping out of a London hotel before heading to a promotional event for X-Men: Dark Phoenix. Remember, just a few days ago, she was rocking a high ponytail and jeans on the red carpet.
Paired with an embellished black velvet pantsuit by Cushnie, Turner's new (or temporary) ’do is giving us all the ’70s feels. And even if her makeover is totally faux, those are some very convincing bangs. But we having a suspicious feeling that they’re the real deal. Her hairstylist, Christian Wood, even posted an Instagram of the look with the haircut emoji. We take that as a sign.
