Watch Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio and Luke Perry in the New ‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’ Trailer

We might have to wait until July 26 to see Quentin Tarantino's highly anticipated ninth film, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, but we did just get another sneak-peek at the flick in the form of a new trailer.

The black comedy crime film takes place in Los Angeles in 1969 as the last remnants of Hollywood's Golden Age start to disappear. The film will focus on a washed-up actor, Rick Dalton (Leonardo DiCaprio), and his stunt double, Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt), who live next door to Sharon Tate (Margot Robbie), a murder victim of the Manson Family.

Despite the Manson tie-in, Tarantino says the film is more about the changing tides of the late ’60s and how the hippie cultural shift impacted Hollywood. Right at the center of that are Dalton and Booth, a struggling former Western TV show star who wants to transition to movies but isn’t finding success and his longtime stunt double and best friend.

In addition to DiCaprio, Pitt and Robbie, the film also stars Lena Dunham (Girls), Austin Butler (Switched at Birth), Lorenza Izzo (Knock Knock), Maya Hawke (Stranger Things), Damian Lewis (Homeland), Dakota Fanning (The Alienist), Clifton Collins Jr. (Westworld), Timothy Olyphant (Santa Clarita Diet) and Kurt Russell (Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2). The late actor Luke Perry, who died unexpectedly in March, will still appear in the film.

We're so ready for this.
