Oh, No! Frankie Muniz’s House Flooded and You’ll Never Believe Who’s to Blame
Celebrities, they’re just like us (well, sometimes). And even the rich and famous aren’t immune to everyday struggles such as let’s say…an accidental house flooding.
This was the reality for former Malcolm in the Middle star Frankie Muniz, who says his five-story brownstone recently sustained major flood damage. No, he didn’t leave the water running. No, his hot water heater didn’t break. The culprit? His cat Jeri.
Huh? Stay with us. In a series of tweets, the 32-year-old actor explained how he returned home (from his uncle’s funeral may we add) to discover several floors of his home under water. The whole story is pretty unbelievable.
I arrived home from my uncle's funeral to find 4 of my 5 story brownstone home under 3 feet of water. Everything I own, destroyed. Every wall, piece of artwork, personal photos, furniture... All because my cat accidentally turned on a sink a few days ago while we were gone.? Frankie Muniz (@frankiemuniz) November 15, 2018
And if that wasn’t enough…
I'm devastated and exhausted from a tough week with the loss of my Uncle Skip, 45 hours of travel to and from France to walk in to find this disaster. I've cried more yesterday and today then my whole life combined. Forgive me for venting.. I just need some support.? Frankie Muniz (@frankiemuniz) November 15, 2018
Luckily he had some support on this one.
Thank God I have @paigey_price to help me get through this. I'd be lost without her. She's so strong and exactly what I need.? Frankie Muniz (@frankiemuniz) November 15, 2018
I know this sounds ridiculous, but I swear it's true. You wouldn't believe the destruction.? Frankie Muniz (@frankiemuniz) November 15, 2018
We have to say it does make for a pretty crazy story. Forget “the dog ate my homework,” for Frankie Muniz it looks like his new go-to excuse is “the cat flooded my house.”
Stay strong, Frankie, we’re sure Jeri didn’t mean it.
