There were a lot of reasons to celebrate May 6 this year. From one of fashion’s biggest nights (The Met Gala) to the aftermath from episode four of Game of Thrones, Monday morning was booming with all types of news. Perhaps the biggest? The birth of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s baby boy.
And while many speculated that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s baby would be sharing a birthday with his cousin, Princess Charlotte, the royal baby was actually born on the same day as one of his parent’s closest friends (and one of the most famous actors in the world), George Clooney.
Yep, the Catch-22 actor turned 58 on Monday, while all eyes were on Frogmore Cottage.
If you didn’t know, Clooney and wife Amal are close with Meghan and Harry and attended their royal wedding last May. The former ER actor even showed off his bartending skills at the reception. And more recently, Amal was one of the guests at Markle’s baby shower in New York City.
