Kelly Ripa Brilliantly Fires Back at Internet Trolls Criticizing Her Marriage

Kelly Ripa won’t stand for internet trolls especially when it comes to those criticizing her marriage. That’s why when one follower made a comment on one of her recent Instagram posts, she immediately clapped back.

ICYMI: On Monday, the Live with Kelly and Ryan co-host shared a sweet snap of her husband, Mark Consuelos, on her personal IG account. In the pic, we see the 49-year-old actor looking dapper in a white button-up and orange knee-length jacket.

“#mcm @instasuelos just when I miss you, you pop up in my memories thanks for the visuals @esquire and @aekholloway,” Ripa captioned the post. As it turns out, we were right in assuming that she was referring to Consuelos’s return to work on the set of Riverdale.

While the majority of the comments section was filled with compliments and praise of the happy couple, one user went out of her way to criticize the duo’s priorities. “Silly you two. I’m sure you have ‘enough’ money that Mark can take a year (or 10) off and stay home with the family?” she wrote alongside a sarcastic heart emoji.

The 50-year-old TV personality didn’t take the statement lightly and quickly fired back tagging the follower. She responded, “What you fail to realize is that there is now a pandemic so we cannot see each other due to quarantine restrictions.
