If there's one thing that should be at the top of your list during Amazon Prime's Big Deal Days Sale (which is happening now and ends tomorrow, October 11), it's a brand-new vacuum cleaner. Specifically, the best-selling iRobot Roomba 692, which is originally $300, now on sale for $165. This Roomba deal is next-level, since the clever device can clean wood floors and carpeting with ease—and can be set to a schedule to do so without us having to think about it. (Quick PSA: You'll have to be a Prime member to snag this deal, but if you're not, you can sign up for a free trial.)

This particular Roomba has racked up more than 18,000 five-star reviews, but what's the hype about? Well, for starters it's all about connectivity. "I love getting a notification that my house if being vacuumed," says one reviewer, referring to how the Roomba works with the iRobot Home App, keeping you in the loop on when it's cleaning, which areas of your home were cleaned and if any part of the machine needs maintenance. Wi-Fi enabled, Alexa-compatible and self-docking, this vacuum can be scheduled ahead or used on command. It uses a three-stage cleaning system and dual, multi-service rubber brushes that are great at lifting pet hair from floors and detecting areas that require extra attention. (So you can say goodbye to sweeping, mopping and scrubbing Mr. Fluffy's fur off your floors.) On top of that, it’s chock-full of advanced sensors that allow the Roomba to navigate under and around furniture, and along edges. It also has a “cliff detect” feature that keeps it from tumbling down the stairs or ledges.

Another shopper raves: “It truly is good for the pet hair we get (we have a terrier that tends to shed clouds and ribbons of soft hair, not stiff straight hairs), giving great results on a variety of surfaces: tile floors, slate floors with quite a bit of texture and carpet."

Here are a few other robot vacuums on sale during Prime Day you can shop, too.

Unlike the Roomba 692, this version of the robot vacuum has a self-emptying docking station to clean out the vacuum so you don't have to between uses. This is great if you have a few pets or kiddos that like to track in dirt, since it can hold up to 60 days' worth of debris, according to the brand. And speaking of pets, if your pup ever has an accident on the floor and your Roomba is set up to run while you're out, this model is programmed to detect and avoid any pet messes that may pop up. (And at 50 percent off? Say a whole lot more of a whole lot less.)

Smart vacuums are worth every penny. Why? Because they save you time from cleaning so you can spend your time doing more important things. The self-emptying canister will hold up to 60 days of dirt and debris and it recharges itself on the same dock. In addition to smart mapping and edge-cleaning features to vacuum hard-to-reach spaces, this particular Roomba features 30 percent wider Unique Multi-Surface Dual Rubber Brushes that are less apt to get tangled with pet hair—compared to the more affordable 600 series Roombas, the brand says—making it a worthwhile investment for people with long-haired, shed-prone pets.

Compatible with WiFi and Alexa, you can control this vacuum from your phone wherever you need. And if you have pets but can't shell out $600 or more for iRobot's flashier models, this Roomba will get the job done nicely. It doesn't have a self-emptying canister, but it does have multi-surface rubber brushes that are less prone to tangling and flexible enough to pick up those tough-to-grab fur textures. This model also is designed to learn your cleaning habits from use so it can offer suggestions for extra cleanings during heavy pollen seasons to eliminate any extra allergens around the house.
