Last night’s episode of The Bachelorette had all our favorite things: a dragged-out rose ceremony. A surprise elimination. And finally, a shockingly calm reunion special.

1. When Tayshia Adams Had A Candid Conversation With Chris Harrison

The episode included Tayshia Adams sitting down with host Chris Harrison to discuss her preparation for next week’s hometown dates. As if Harrison’s two cents will influence her decision in the slightest.

2. When Tayshia Adams Took Blake To Have His Chakras Read

The date sounded like a typical Bachelorette excursion. However, things took an awkward turn when the woman asked Adams to sit on Blake’s lap and instructed them to stare into each other’s eyes for an excruciatingly long time.

3. And Then Promptly Sent Him Home

After the informal staring contest, Adams revealed that her relationship with Blake wasn’t where it needed to be. “I wish we had more time. I just don’t know if we can get there,” she said. “It’s not that you’re not an incredible guy. The timing was just off for us.”

4. Followed By Riley

When Adams returned from the date, she joined the men in their suite before pulling aside Riley. Since family means so much to him, Adams sent him home, claiming she didn’t want to put him through the rose ceremony when she knew where their relationship stood. #Ouch

5. When Bennett Returned…and Immediately Got Sent Home

Although Adams let Bennett re-join the show, she didn’t give him a rose during the ceremony. Later on, the Bachelorette explained that while she appreciated the effort, her connection with the other men was stronger.

6. When Tayshia Adams Chose Her Final Four

In addition to Bennett, Adams also sent home Noah during the rose ceremony. Her decision presented us with the final four: Ben, Brendan, Ivan and Zac.

7. And Then Confronted Her Exes During 'the Men Tell All'

Ahead of tonight’s hometown dates, Adams confronted the eliminated contestants in a socially distanced reunion special.

8. When Yosef Made A Fool Of Himself (again)

Remember Yosef’s fight with Clare Crawley over the strip dodgeball date? Well, Harrison gave Yosef the chance to apologize, and he refused. “If my daughter did something like that, I would hope someone would call her out,” he said.

9. And Riley Got Closure

During The Men Tell All, Riley admitted that he didn’t handle the breakup with Adams well. She reassured Riley that his honesty didn’t get him sent home and encouraged him to continue being vulnerable in future relationships.

10. When Tayshia Adams Set The Record Straight

Ever since Adams replaced Crawley as the Bachelorette, rumors have been swirling about whether it was the producers’ plan all along. She debunked the gossip, revealing that if she would’ve known, she would have been more prepared from the start.
