Meghan Markle needs to make a little room on her mantle, because the Duchess of Sussex just received a major award in honor of her 2022 podcast, Archetypes.

At the 2023 Gracie Awards—a ceremony which “recognizes exemplary programming created by women, for women and about women in all facets of media and entertainment”—Markle was named the top Entertainment Podcast Host.

The news was shared to the official Archewell site, where they wrote, “Today, The Gracie Awards announced that Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex was named top Entertainment Podcast Host for her groundbreaking podcast series Archetypes...This award honors outstanding original content that both entertains and informs in a highly engaging and authentic manner.”

The announcement also included a quote from the Duchess of Sussex herself, who said, “Thank you to the Alliance for Women in Media Foundation for this prestigious honor. This is a shared success for me and the team behind Archetypes—most of whom are women—and the inspiring guests who joined me each week.”

Archetypes debuted back in August 2022, and it featured a slew of A-list guest stars, including Serena Williams, Mariah Carey, Mindy Kaling and more. Upon its debut, the podcast was ranked number one in the U.S., the U.K., Australia, Ireland and New Zealand.

The first season consisted of 12 different episodes, with new installments airing weekly from August to November (excluding Markle's short hiatus). At the People's Choice Awards last year, Archetypes won The Pop Podcast of 2022 Award.

Big congrats, Meghan! We'll just be patiently waiting for a second season.
