Major congratulations are in order for Marie Kondo. The Tidying up with Marie Kondo star is officially expecting a baby with her husband, Takumi Kawahara.
The home organization expert shared the exciting news on Wednesday in a sweet Instagram post. “I have some news! Another bundle of joy on the way,” she captioned a snap of herself cradling her growing baby bump.
Of course, the comments section quickly filled up with kind words and congratulations from friends, family and followers. One user wrote, “The biggest joy! Congratulations! What a lucky soul to come to such a calm, inspiring and beautiful family!” while another added, “The best kind of news one can receive! New life, new hope! Congratulations.”
This will be the third child for the 36-year-old and her husband, who married back in 2012. The couple is also parents to two young daughters—Satsuki, 5, and Miko, 4.
Last year, the author of the bestselling book, The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up, opened up about motherhood and how it has impacted her personality. “I used to be a perfectionist but it became difficult to maintain that standard after having my children. So much was out of my control,” she told People. “I hope my openness on the subject will help others to ease up on impossible standards.”
This isn’t the only news we’ve received from the Netflix star this month. Last week, it was revealed that Kondo released an all-new line with The Container Store. The collection consists of home, kitchen, desk and other organization essentials that will be ideal for a new nursery.
