Margot Robbie, brand ambassador to Chanel, celebrated her 29th birthday today on what appears to be a very chic work trip to Paris (yep, consider us très jaloux). She attended the Chanel Haute Couture Autumn/Winter 2019 show, which was set in a circular library inspired by Mademoiselle Chanel’s personal library in her 31 Rue Cambon apartment, according to British Vogue.
For her big day, the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood actress wore a detailed bouclé blazer and coordinating trousers from Chanel's Cruise 2020 collection.
She paired the jacket-pants combo with open-back pointy-toe black boots, oversize sunglasses and a black Chanel shoulder bag. Robbie wore her hair in a loose, low ponytail with black bow, and left a few wavy tendrils out to frame her face.
The Australian actress has been an ambassador for Chanel fragrance since May 20, 2019, and seems to be very dedicated to her role. In fact, she wore two different Chanel couture looks for the Cannes Film Festival red carpet this year.
We wonder if Robbie actually hit the books while waiting for the runway show to start, in order to learn more about the brand she's been chosen to represent.
Regardless, that's enough studying, mademoiselle. Time to hit the vie nocturne.
