When it comes to the red pill or blue pill debate, it's safe to assume that Jada Pinkett Smith is going with the red pill. At least according to the jaw-dropping, blood-red ensemble she donned at The Matrix Resurrections premiere in San Francisco.

The matriarch of the Smith family stunned in a strapless ruched minidress courtesy of Giambattista Valli Haute Couture, fit with a humongous flowing train for added drama. She paired the ensemble with matching tights and see-through pumps. The look was accessorized with a huge statement earring (yes, only one—very cool) and an understated bracelet.
Adding to the drama was her low buzz cut, which she's been proudly—and gorgeously—rocking since shaving her head back in July 2021. The actress previously revealed she was suffering from hair loss, but as far as we can tell, the long tresses were only holding her back. Her fully displayed high cheek bones and chiseled jaw-line only made the red ball gown that much edgier.
The Matrix Resurrections premieres in theaters and HBO Max on Dec. 22.
