Grey’s Anatomy stars Jesse Williams and Sarah Drew (“Japril”) just had a small reunion in NYC—and on social media—and it’s giving us allll the feels.

Drew recently attended her former castmate’s Broadway play, Take Me Out. Based on the story written by Richard Greenberg, the play follows a baseball player named Darren Lemming (Williams), who comes out as gay and is struggling with the aftermath.

The Cruel Summer actress decided to document the iconic moment on her personal Instagram page. In the photo slideshow, she posed in front of a promotional banner that featured her former on-screen love interest. The next snapshot showed the pair smiling from ear to ear and sharing a small embrace.

“Got to see this guy shine in his Tony-nominated Broadway debut last night on my way home from Canada! What a show! What a performance! I laughed and cried. It was moving and hilarious and heart wrenching,” Drew wrote in the caption.

“It was all the things. @ijessewilliams gives a stunning performance alongside a brilliant cast,” she continued. “@jessetyler brought me to joyous tears several times. If you haven’t seen #takemeout yet - GO! See it before it closes. You won’t regret it!! [red heart emojis].”

If the caption weren’t enough, Williams saw the snapshot and wrote in the comments section, “Love youuu!! And thanks for not disturbing the show with your joyful weeping!!!!”

Japril shippers will be delighted to know that the duo will be reprising their roles as Jackson Avery and April Kepner for the season 18 finale, which is set to premiere on May 26. The last time we saw the pair on screen was when Jackson left Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital to work for his family’s foundation in Boston. April decided to go with him, so he could be close to their daughter, Harriet.

Japril 4life.
