Gigi Hadid just followed in the footsteps of her partner, Zayn Malik, by getting a permanent tribute to their daughter.
The 25-year-old model was featured in Vogue's latest installment of their Beauty Secrets video series, and eagle-eyed fans were quick to notice a new tattoo that looked a lot like Malik's tribute ink to their newborn, Khai. If you look closely at her bicep at the 5:28 mark, you can see the tiny tattoo of Khai's name, which is written in Arabic.
The exact same tattoo has also been spotted on the inside of Malik's right wrist during an Instagram Live on Jan. 22—just a day after Hadid quietly revealed their daughter’s name in her Instagram bio.
Hadid and Malik have been keeping things pretty private since they welcomed their daughter in September. However, Hadid has been giving fans a few glimpses of Khai on her Instagram account. In November, the new mom shared her first family photo and captioned the pic, "My First Halloween." And in the same month, Hadid shared a rare pic of herself cuddling her baby outdoors. She wrote, "A whole new kind of busy & tired, but she’s da bestie so she got Christmas decorations early."
The model's mom, Yolanda, also gave fans a glimpse of Khai on Instagram by sharing a snap of herself and her granddaughter in January. She said, “When I woke up this morning and counted all my blessings in life this little Angel was ranked #1. It’s a whole new feeling, I’m feeling... part of my heart I didn’t know existed.” In the comments, Hadid responded, "You are the best OMA! She is so lucky. We all are!!"
Clearly, Khai is in the best company.
