The clip shows Ross squeezing into a pair of thigh-high metallic boots (courtesy of Balenciaga), with some help from stylist Shiona Turini. We're guessing that they didn't slip on very easily, because Ross periodically took breaks throughout the process, shooting some hilariously "over it" looks at the camera. Once the left side was done, the clip zooms through the process of putting the other boot on, before Ross finally screams, "Oh, it's going in!" But she quickly changes her tune and says, "Oh no, it's not there yet."
Along with the iconic behind-the-scenes video, Ross shared the results of the process with a gorgeous pic from the Marie Claire shoot, taken by Christine Hahn.
For the rest of the look, Ross's hair was styled by her frequent collaborator, Nai'vasha, using the star's own hair care product, Pattern. Her makeup was done by Lisa Storey.
Many were impressed by Ross's dedication to style, like her stylist Turini, who commented, "Hahahahahhahahahahhhah ICONIC. The things we do for fashion." Meanwhile, Kerry Washington said, "You are a fashion superhero!" One user shrewdly added, "Now you know and can relate to the struggle the Knights endured!!"
Even if the journey is difficult, the end result is always worth it when it comes to Ross's style.
