Get ready, because 20th Century Fox has released another trailer for the latest installment of the X-Men franchise, Dark Phoenix. And we have to say, Sophie Turner looks badass.
Turner stars as X-Men mutant Jean Grey in the film, which follows her progression from a child who accidentally causes a car accident to her rise as the X-Men’s most powerful foe.
Jean, also known as Phoenix, finds herself near death on a rescue mission in space. Once returning home, she realizes she has become even more powerful, as well as unstable. Her downward spiral not only threatens the foundation of the X-Men, but also the very safety of Earth itself.
Written and directed by Simon Kinberg, the film also stars X-Men veterans Jennifer Lawrence (Mystique), James McAvoy (Professor Charles Xavier), Michael Fassbender (Magneto), Nicholas Hoult (Beast), Evan Peters (Quicksilver) and Tye Sheridan (Cyclops). Plus, new addition Jessica Chastain (Smith) is joining the gang.
