In footage obtained by Daily Mail, the "Umbrella" singer is seen stepping out in a bodycon mini dress with a colorful, floral coat. And when photographers asked her to comment on her bling, she simply chuckled and said, "This old ring?" (Well played, RiRi.)
In case you've yet to see the sparkly bauble, it features a round-cut diamond and it's worth up to $700,000, according to jewelry designer Mark Broumand.
He said in a statement, "Rihanna’s ring looks to be a stunning 7 to 9 carat Old European Round diamond set in a bold bezel set solitaire setting. We estimate this ring to be in the $500,000-$700,000 price range."
He added, "Old European rounds are the original cutting style of the modern round brilliant with chunkier facets and an amazing brilliance that shows broader sparks of light. It has a slower and sexier glimmer vs the modern round brilliant cut that has a much brighter and faster brilliance.”
A$AP Rocky has yet to address the rumors, but Rihanna's new comment comes just a few weeks after a close source revealed to Hollywood Life that a proposal was on the horizon. The insider told the outlet, “It’s only a matter of time before [A$AP Rocky] proposes. Rocky absolutely feels that Rihanna is the perfect person for him, and he can’t imagine his life without her."
The source continued, "They have discussed marriage and kids. They know it’s something they both want. Despite their romance heating up as quickly as it has, they’ve had time to lay the foundation for a great relationship since they were friends for so long before they hooked up."
In January, Rihanna revealed that she was pregnant with her first child while taking a snowy walk through Harlem with her boyfriend. And since then, she's been rocking some of the most memorable maternity looks, from lace-up tops to low-rise jeans.
Fingers crossed we'll also get to see the 34-year-old star turn heads in her wedding gown.
