Prince William Sends Public Birthday Message to Stepmother Queen Camilla (and Even Includes an Emoji)

Prince William (41) and his wife, Kate Middleton (41), are both taking a moment to wish Queen Camilla a happy birthday on social media.

Today, the royal is celebrating her 76th birthday. In honor of the special occasion, the Prince and Princess of Wales went on their joint Twitter profile and dedicated a sweet birthday tribute to the queen.

Alongside a photo of Camilla smiling from ear to ear (shown below), the couple wrote in the tweet, “A very happy birthday to Her Majesty The Queen!” and added a birthday cake emoji with candles.

This is the first birthday Camilla will celebrate as queen. After she was crowned alongside her husband at the coronation ceremony, the royal family unveiled her official portrait.

In the photograph shared on Instagram, Camilla donned royal regalia from head to toe, which was created by famous British designer, Bruce Oldfield. The caption read: “An official portrait of Her Majesty The Queen following her Coronation on 6th May.”
