Uh, Did Meghan Markle’s Wedding Stylist Just Totally Recreate Her Royal Look for Another Client?

Once upon a time, Meghan Markle celebrated her wedding reception in a divine white silk Stella McCartney halter neck gown. It was basically an IRL fairy tale, from her dress to the venue (ahem, Windsor Castle) to the fact that she married an actual prince. Well, her best friend and bridal stylist, Jessica Mulroney, just recreated the 37-year-old Duchess of Sussex’s royal wedding look for an entirely different (and non-royal) bride.

The 39-year-old stylist shared a photo of a couple on their wedding day this past Sunday. And while it’s not out of the norm for her to share pics of brides and grooms on their big day (that is her job after all), it was the style of the bride’s dress that caught fans’ attention.

As you’ll notice in the Instagram photo below, the bride, Lauren Tjernlund, is wearing a white halter neck gown with a low back and a train that looks just like Markle’s second wedding dress.

The resemblance is uncanny, right?

Mulroney captioned the snap, “This look. This couple!!” making us wonder if she loved the duchess’s look so much she subconsciously recreated it.

Unfortunately, Mulroney didn’t tag the bridal brand, but she did tag Kleinfeld Canada’s Hudson Bay location. A cursory search of the store’s website shows that it doesn’t carry Stella McCartney, so it’s not the exact dress Markle wore on her wedding day. They do, however, carry a Paloma Blanca belted halter trumpet gown  (price upon request) that looks an awful lot like Tjernlund’s. All you’d have to do is remove the belt, and voilá.

So, if you’re dreaming about Markle’s wedding (same), know that you can still find a dress just like hers. Princes, sadly, come in a more limited quantity.
