Laura Dern & Katie Holmes Just Had the Most Glamorous Weekend in Capri

In case you’re unfamiliar, Capri, Italy, is a tiny slice of heaven in the Tyrrhenian Sea. This past weekend, Laura Dern and Katie Holmes got to experience the chic summer getaway for themselves and looked effortlessly fabulous while doing it.

The 52-year-old Big Little Lies star and 40-year-old Dawson’s Creek alum joined forces to celebrate Australian fashion brand Zimmermann. The ready-to-wear line held an A-list dinner at Il Riccio to fete the arrival of its new Capri store. Naturally, both actresses looked vacay-ready in Zimmermann dresses as they posed alongside co-founder Nicky Zimmermann.  

Holmes opted for the Zimmermann Goldie scalloped floral minidress ($750), which she accessorized with layered gold necklaces and a wavy bob. We’re loving those subtle yet sexy peekaboo cutouts and voluminous long sleeves.

Holmes shared the sunset photo above on her personal Instagram and wrote, “Thank you @zimmermann and @mcarfrae for a beautiful time” with a beating heart emoji. 

Dern upped the print ante and selected the Zimmermann Suraya ruche silk leopard dress ($795) for the occasion. The IRL Renata complemented the animal print with voluminous natural waves, a gold chain-link bracelet and a crystal statement ring.  

She also shared several snaps from the weekend on Instagram. In one, she posed with InStyle editor-in-chief Laura Brown  in front of a stunning view of the island.
