Prince William & Kate Middleton Reveal Their Children Miss ‘Much-Loved’ Prince Philip in New Thank You Letter to Fans

Members of the British royal family have been mourning the loss of their parent, grandparent and great-grandparent, Prince Philip, for over a month. And now, Kate Middleton and Prince William are taking the time to thank followers who sent along their condolences.

Last week, Instagram user, Miss Royal Replies, revealed that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge sent a thank you card to fans who reached out to the family following the death of the Duke of Edinburgh. Lucky for us, she even shared a sneak peek of the sweet note on IG, which revealed that the group, including George, Charlotte and Louis, miss their family member dearly.

“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge thank you for your kind words following the death of the Duke of Edinburgh," part of the letter reads. “Their Royal Highnesses have been incredibly moved by the many thoughtful messages they have received in recent weeks. They will all miss their much-loved grandfather and great-grandfather, but your message has provided great comfort at this difficult time.”

In addition to the letter, the card also included a recent photo of the late-royal, smiling and looking official in uniform. And this wasn’t the only image shared by Will and Kate since Philip’s death.

Last month, the duo released an old image of the duke spending quality time with Princess Charlotte and Prince George. The snap, which was also posted on Instagram, was taken at Balmoral in 2015 and features the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge smiling for the camera with their two eldest children as well as Philip and Queen Elizabeth.

“Today we share, along with Members of @theroyalfamily, photographs of The Duke of Edinburgh, remembering him as a father, grandfather and great-grandfather,” the post’s caption read.

It’s nice to see that the fanss’ condolences didn’t go unnoticed.
