We Finally Have Answers About Hannah Brown’s Appearance on ‘The Bachelor’

Last week, ABC released a promo for Peter Weber’s season of The Bachelor that teased an appearance by former Bachelorette Hannah Brown. And now, we finally have answers about her involvement. (Hint: It’s not what you think.)

As it turns out, Brown is returning to the Bachelor mansion to host a group date—not to date her 28-year-old ex-boyfriend, who just so happens to be looking for his future wife.

According to E! News, ABC is switching things up with a three-hour long (!!) premiere on January 6. Although the first episode is normally dedicated to dragged out limo arrivals, the network is adding an additional hour to make room for the very first group dates of the season.

One date will take place at a flight school, while the other will be hosted by Brown, which explains her limo arrival in The Bachelor promo. It will feature the former Bachelorette tasking nine contestants with sharing their most memorable sex story/fantasy.

The catch? They’re doing it in front of a live studio audience, so prepare for loads of windmill jokes. (Sorry, Mom.)

Of course, ABC is making it seem like there’s more to Brown’s hosting gig. In a press release, the network teased a series of thought-provoking questions about what goes down after the group date, like “What happens when Peter discovers a distraught Hannah backstage?” and “Will Hannah join the group of women in the Bachelor mansion and continue to date Peter?”

Oh, this should be good.
