Is a ‘Friends’ Reunion Special Coming to HBO Max?

Guys, could it be? Is there really a Friends reunion special in the works? Jennifer Aniston hinted as much in a recent interview with Stephen Colbert, but now we have even more gossip information.

According to the The Hollywood Reporter, HBO Max (a new subscription video on demand service from your favorite Game of Thrones provider), has something *potentially* simmering with the six main stars on board.

But it doesn't sound like a typical revamp is in the cards. (We're sorry, all of you Central Perk heads waiting out for Friends 2.0.) Instead, it would be an unscripted special featuring Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matthew Perry, Matt LeBlanc and David Schwimmer (!). Friends series creators Marta Kauffman and David Crane would also on board. So if this thing is real, it seems like it'd be more of a one-off reality special. And ya know what? We'll take it.

Real World Central Perk? We're already setting our DVRs to record.
