There are approximately a million things we love about the Queen of the Andals and First Men, Mother of Dragons, Khaleesi (etc., etc.), Daenerys Targaryen. But one of our all-time favorites? Her gorgeous, perfectly braided, icy white-blond locks.
So when Emilia Clarke (aka Queen Dany) posted a photo of her new hair on Instagram this morning, we practically fainted. Guys, she is her GoT character. Daenerys is real. Winter is coming. We. Can’t. Breathe.
Clarke not only swapped her chocolatey brown ’do for a nice blond crop but also posted this caption: “I done did it. Mother of dragons meet Emilia. Emilia meet mother of dragons. If you squint just so you might never know,” confirming our belief that she truly is Queen of the Seven Kingdoms and Wearer of All the Hair Colors.
