Spicy Hummus and Mozzarella Stuffed Buns

Makes 6 large buns or 12 small buns

One 22-ounce pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)

½ cup Sabra Supremely Spicy Hummus

½ cup grated mozzarella cheese

Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

2 tablespoons

extra-virgin

olive oil, as needed

Flaky sea salt, as needed

1 tablespoon fresh chopped parsley

1. Preheat the oven to 375°F. Lightly grease a 9-inch cake pan and set aside.

2. In a small bowl, combine the Sabra Supremely Spicy Hummus with the mozzarella cheese. Season with salt and pepper. Set aside.

3. Divide the pizza dough into 6 equal pieces for large buns (about 97g each) or 12 equal pieces for small buns (about 48g each), and cover with a clean kitchen towel. Working with one piece of dough at a time, flatten slightly, then scoop about 1½ tablespoons of the hummus-mozzarella mixture into the center of the dough. Pinch the dough around the hummus to seal it, shape it into a ball and place in the prepared pan. Cover with a kitchen towel and let rise until puffed, about 30 minutes.

4. Once the buns have risen, brush the tops with olive oil and sprinkle with flaky salt. Bake until golden brown, 30 to 35 minutes, then drizzle with more olive oil and sprinkle with parsley. Serve hot.
