Creamy Sumac California Avocado Dip

Ready for the easiest dip ever? Simply throw all of your ingredients (California Avocados and tangy sumac are the stars) into a blender until smooth. Cut up some fresh vegetables for dipping and you’re good to go. A colorful, nutritious dip in under 10 minutes.

Ingredients

1 cup crème fraiche

2 ripe, fresh California Avocados—pitted, peeled and sliced

¼ cup mayonnaise

3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil

Zest of 1 lemon

Juice of ½ lemon

5 sprigs fresh parsley

10 leaves fresh basil

1 teaspoon dried sumac, plus more as needed

Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper

Assorted vegetables, for serving

Directions

1. In a blender, combine the crème fraiche, California Avocados, mayonnaise, olive oil, lemon zest, lemon juice, parsley, basil and sumac and blend until completely smooth. Season to taste with salt and pepper. To serve, pour into a bowl and garnish with a pinch of sumac. Serve with vegetables for dipping.
