Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's Royal Puppy Has a Name, and It Could Be a Reference to Their Next Trip

It’s official: The doggo of Sussex has a name, and it’s Oz!

Royal puppy parents Prince Harry and Meghan Markle reportedly named their new Labrador retriever Oz, which they got at the beginning of summer (and have been keeping very quiet about since), according to People. While we like to think the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are big Dorothy fans, the name may also be a cute callout to Australia (maybe it’s spelled Aus?), where the couple will take their next big trip, the royal tour of Oceania. It’s slated to kick off this fall with the Invictus Games in Sydney, which begin October 20.

Or maybe they’re both just huge Ozzy Osbourne fans. (They do like to buck royal tradition, ya know…)
